WHY FEMINIZED?

When deciding whether or not to go with Standard or Feminized seeds, there are a few things to consider. There is no arguing with the yield potential of an all female field. CBD% is much greater when flowers are not seeded and buyers and processors pay more for unseeded flower. If you are on a budget and have to plant your field with standard M/F seeds, “sexing” and culling the males pre-planting will minimize the ratio of males. You will, however, risk major pollen contamination from late showing males and one single male plant can pollinate up to an acre of plants.  Therefore, walking the field throughout the season will be more important than ever. Your neighbors will also appreciate a feminized field if they are growing Cannabis/hemp for flower as well.
